Ferndown
Ferndown is the second largest inland town in terms of population second to Dorchester, home to a population of 20,000. Ancient heathland remains in the guise of Ferndown Common and Parley Common.
Ferndown has good transport connections, fine outdoor sport and leisure facilities and plenty of shops, it is also nestled in-between the market town of Wimborne and Ringwood with Ferndown being recognised for its famous 18 hole championship golf course.
It is also only 4 miles from Bournemouth International Airport which provides flights to destinations in UK and in Europe.
Ferndown is well served with a wide selection of high street names and superstores, as well as independent shops in the centre of town such as a butcher, greengrocer and bakery. The schools in Ferndown are very good, with Ferndown middle and upper being the two most sought after.
