Nestled between Bournemouth Town Centre and Southbourne lies the eclectic seaside resort of Boscombe.

The high street is made up of two parts -one end with a pedestrian precinct that houses large retail corporates, the other end which hosts an array of independent coffee shops, deli’s and vintage boutiques leading all the way to Pokesdown Station.

In 1996 Boscombe underwent an enormous regeneration programme which included an initiative to make stamp duty exempt in a bid to rejuvenate the area. The project was a huge success as it re-discovered the Boscombe Spa roots, transforming it into a high end, desirable area to reside by the sea.

Property and architecture in Boscombe vary from a number of styles within the town, ranging from the elaborate Victorian style of the Royal Arcade, to the modernist 1950s styles of the pier and over strand buildings. Alongside these are modern flats developments overlooking the beach such as The Point, The and Honeycombe Beach.

A trendy beach bar and restaurant called Urban Reef is just a short walk from Boscombe Pier for those warm summer evenings and sunsets. Boscombe is Serviced by highly commended Corpus Christie school and St Clements and St Johns COE infant school.
